Bernwode Rural Shed
Working, talking and drinking tea - and building a better community. Bernwode Rural Shed meets every Wednesday, 10.30am at 7 High Street in Brill. No membership, no fees, no committment; just turn up! The group is part of the UK Men’s Sheds Association.
Brill Community Fund
Supporting community projects in Brill since 2003. Any Bernwode resident or organisation can apply, so long as their project offers a real benefit for the whole community. Read the Fund’s annual report.
Brill Community Market
Small, friendly market; stalls free to charities, local groups and small businesses. Handicrafts and gifts, breakfast rolls and coffee, homemade cakes and preserves, genuine Brill Pasties, - and more! Every third Saturday in the month (usually) 9.30-11.30am in All Saints Church.
Brill URC Coffee & Books
Second-hand books galore; good condition, well-presented. Usually open Thursday mornings, with coffee and cakes upstairs. The Secretary is Sue Horton. Read the URC’s annual report.
Alice Carter Charity
Funded by allotment rents and income from investments, Carter’s Charity (its official name) makes annual payments to “deserving widows and spinsters” in the parishes of Brill, Boarstall, Honeyburge, and Oakley.

The benefits of allotment gardening are well known and Brill Allotments personify all that is wonderful about this way of life; companionship, tranquility, creativity - and lots and lots of courgettes.

Brill Church of England Educational Endowment (BCEEE)
Grants for former pupils of Brill School for books, IT equipment, educational visits, uniform, tuition - or anything else needed for educational or training purposes in later years.
Brill Bellringers
Anyone over the age of 7 can learn. You don't have to be particularly musical or exceptionally strong! Practices are usually every week on Monday evenings.
